Volunteerability is a program aimed at creating more inclusive communities for people with disability by supporting the inclusiveness of volunteers and Volunteer Involving Organisations (VIO’s). Volunteerability is currently funded until June 30, 2025 through an Information, Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) Grant and administered by a partnership between Orana, Northern Volunteering and Southern Volunteering. All training sessions and services through this project is provided FREE.

- Unconscious bias
- Workshopping scenarios around volunteer inclusion “what would you do if….”
Our Volunteer Managers training covers the full range of volunteer engagement. From thinking about roles, to retention.
We can highlight one topic at a time, at a short seminar or step through inclusive tools and resources for all facets.

- Accessibility
- Role Carving
- Recognition and retention
Volunteerability has also developed a range of resources including checklists and other practical tools for volunteer managers. This toolkit, along with the training mentioned above, have all been co-designed by people with disability to improve volunteering opportunities that are inclusive, accessible and meaningful.
